Macao ASEAN International Chamber of Commerce (MAICC) is an organization legally registered in Macao. It is a non-governmental, comprehensive and non-profit corporation consisting of entrepreneurs, enterprises and economic organizations, which are engaged in international trade and economic activities within 10 ASEAN countries, China and Macao SAR. The objectives of MAICC are, in accordance with relevant laws, regulations and policies of Macao SAR, and by making reference to international practices, to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of MAICC members; MAICC offers Macao a platform bridging entrepreneurs from ASEAN countries, China and Macao SAR, thus, jointly promote cooperation and exchanges in the fields of investment, trade, technology, tourism, culture, education and sports. MAICC's main functions are to promote social and economic developments of ASEAN countries, China and Macao SAR by providing professional services, to enhance cooperation among of MAICC members and to provide various kinds of consultations for ASEAN, China, and Macao SAR's businessmen and help to settle any problems arisen in the course of their cooperation.
